FAQ

Is cricket the same as baseball?

No. Cricket is only similar to baseball. They have different rules although if you understand the rules of baseball, you already have grasped the concept of batting and fielding, scoring runs, getting batters out, and runners being safe or out, which are also the underlying ideas in cricket.

What are the differences between a cricket and a baseball?

Unlike baseball, you do not have to hit the ball in cricket if you desire so. Absolutely no penalty if you swing and miss. There is no foul territory too, meaning the fielders have a larger area to cover, making it easier to score runs and harder to get batsmen out. Furthermore, the batsmen are not obliged to run.
