Tournaments

There are two squash tournaments in the world which are considered to be the most prestigious. The first one is the British Open Squash Championships. It is more popularly known as the “Wimbledon of Squash.” It is perhaps the most established squash tournament in the world. In fact, before the World Open was established in the 1970s, the British Open was considered to The world championship. The World Open has competitions for both men and women. Prior to 2005, the men's and women's tournaments were held in different places. The World Open tournament of that year combined the two in Hong Kong .
