About Tennis
Tennis is a game that can be played by two or four players. A singles match is between two players on each side of the court while a doubles match consists of two teams with two players each. The court is rectangular and has a net in the center. The sport was originally called lawn tennis in order to distinguish it from real tennis, which was played in a different type of court. Nowadays, the sport is just known as tennis. Tennis is very popular around the world and is even part of the Olympic Games. |
